Keriann Dengos

Keriann Dengos joined Higgins, Cavanagh & Cooney as a Litigation Attorney in 2024. She is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and is pending admission into Connecticut.

Keriann graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law cum laude in 2022. During law school, she gained invaluable experience as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Brian P. Stern on the Rhode Island Superior Court Business Calendar, and as a student attorney for the law school’s immigration clinic. She also received academic recognition for excellence in Constitutional Law and Legal Practice. Before joining HCC, Keriann was also a law clerk for a prominent Rhode Island union-side law firm handling labor & employment and workers’ compensation matters, and gained experience with alternative dispute resolution, administrative agencies and courts, and contract negotiation.

Keriann also holds a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in dance from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a bankruptcy paralegal at leading New York law firms. She worked directly with banks and other large financial institutions focusing on foreclosure and loss mitigation.
